You can book a table online through the Restomanager reservation system. We ask for:
We use this to record and confirm your booking, prepare your table and contact you if anything changes. Your booking is confirmed straight away. The legal basis is the performance of your booking (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Without this information we cannot accept your booking.
Restomanager (RestoManager VOF, Zele, Belgium, company number BE 0743.981.684) processes this data on our behalf.
The booking button on our home page and ‘About us’ page, and the booking window on our reservations page, are loaded directly from Restomanager as soon as you open those pages. See Cookies below for what this means.
If you email us, for instance about a group booking, we use your name, email address and message to reply and prepare your request. The legal basis is taking steps at your request ahead of a booking (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), or our legitimate interest in answering questions (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Our email address is a Hotmail address, so your email is processed by Microsoft.
Our website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (United States). Like any web server, Netlify processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested, in order to deliver and secure the site. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
As Netlify is based in the United States, data may be processed outside the European Union. This takes place under Netlify’s data processing agreement, with the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses as a safeguard.
We do not use analytics, advertising networks or social media buttons that pass on data. Fonts, scripts and the map are served from our own server, except for the Restomanager booking button and booking window.
We never sell your data or use it for advertising. Only the following parties process data on our behalf (processors):
We keep your data no longer than needed for the purpose we received it for: booking details for as long as needed for your booking and its follow-up, emails for as long as needed to deal with your question. Data we are legally required to keep is kept for as long as the law requires.
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict its processing, to object to processing based on legitimate interest, and to receive your data in a common format (portability). Just email goloyeral@hotmail.com. We will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (GBA/APD), Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels, www.dataprotectionauthority.be.
This website does not set any cookies itself and uses no analytics or other trackers of its own.
